The Lord is my Strength
God has gotten me through the first of the three phases of Ranger School. We were given a short eight hour pass today to refit and reorganize before we head on to the mountains of north Georgia. Thank you all for you prayers. God has definitely answered them and I have gotten through what many will tell you is the hardest part. Please, please continue to pray for me and my compadres as we proceed. The prayers I asked for still apply. Please pray that I will have favor in the eyes of my peers and instructors. That I'll above all keep the Father as my first priority and do all of it for His glory and that I will not ever quite at any task given to me.
I sometimes find it hard to keep the pace in some situations and weariness from sleep deprevation often gets the better of me. I want to be a help and asset to those around me and not be burdensome.
I love you all and hope I'll see you at the May 25th Ranger School graduation in Fort Benning, GA at 10 am. Contact my Mom for further info. And please write letters. I would love to hear from you while I'm out there. Sorry I probably won't have the time to write back. But know that I would love to. The second address from the previous post applies now. This will hopefully be last you hear from me until May 25th.
